Broad Run Vizslas is located in the Piedmont of the Blue Ridge Mountains, in Virginia's Horse and Wine Country.  Our name, Broad Run, is taken mostly from a stream and field where our first Vizslas loved to hunt and swim.  For eleven years we have been enjoying the Vizsla breed.  We began entering field trials with our second Vizsla Blaze, and have been hooked ever since.  We also participate in hunt tests and conformation shows.  We are active members of the Vizsla Club of America (VCA), the Conestoga Vizsla Club (CVC), and Piedmont Bird Dog Trainers & Associates (PBDTA).  Our breeding program focuses on producing versatile puppies with sound health and temperament for breed improvement.  We abide by and follow the Vizsla Club of America's Code of Ethics.  Recently we were honored to be recognized as an AKC Breeder of Merit.  We only occasionally have puppies available, but we can assist you in deciding if the Vizsla is the right breed for you.  Please never buy a dog from a pet store or backyard breeder.  You may want to consider rescuing a Vizsla.  We hope that you find our website enjoyable.  It is designed to share information on the Vizsla breed's versatility, and more specifically on the Vizslas of Broad Run Vizslas.  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or suggestions.  We update often, so be sure to check back soon.
